Before we start with turning negatives into positives, remember that it’s all about mindset. Yes, it’s completely normal to have negative thoughts every now and again. But, you can be in control. You have the power to change how you feel.

Pinpoint the Negative

Awareness is the first step. Catch yourself in the act. Whenever you have an unproductive thought, pause and acknowledge it. It’s important to understand that it’s just a thought and that it has no power over your actions, unless you allow it to.

Challenge the Negativity

Now, it’s time to put negativity on trial. Ask yourself if this thought is helping you advance towards your goals or holding you back. More often than not, you’ll realize the thought isn’t nearly as valid as you first believed.

Replace with Positive Actions
