Mom Strong
Strong moms are made here.
Mom Strong is a postpartum fitness program built around your recovery, your schedule, and your goals. With coaches who specialize in postpartum training and a community of moms at both our Aurora and Newmarket locations, you will never have to figure this out on your own.
WHY MOM STRONG?
A program that starts with a conversation.
Every participant is screened before they begin.
We do not just hand you a schedule and wish you luck. Before anything else, we sit down with you, learn where your body is at, and point you in the right direction. That might be 1.0, it might be 2.0, or it might mean a visit to a pelvic floor physiotherapist first. Either way, you will know exactly what to expect before your first class.
Bring your baby, or don’t.
Mom Strong runs as a mommy-and-me class. Your baby has a place in the room. The other moms around you have lived through the same moments you have. Step away to tend to your little one whenever you need to. No one is counting reps on your behalf. Want to come alone? That works too.
You do not need a fitness background to start.
Whether you were training before pregnancy or this is your first time in a gym, our coaches build workouts around you. Every movement is scaled to your ability and your stage of recovery. There is no baseline you need to meet before walking through the door.

Coached by people who know postpartum.
Mom Strong is not a general fitness class with a postpartum modification. It is led by coaches who have trained specifically to work with postpartum bodies and who understand the difference.
Chriselle
Chriselle leads Mom Strong sessions at both locations. She has cleared moms for 2.0 entry and helped develop the monthly programming.
Both locations, all week.
Choose what works for your week. You are not locked to one location or one day.

Generally 6 to 8 weeks through to around 18 months. If your child is older, get in touch and we will work something out.
That is the first thing we help you figure out. We speak with every participant before they start, take stock of where they are physically, and recommend the right next step. For some moms that is 1.0, for others it means seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist first. We will not put you in a class before we are confident it is the right fit.
Yes. Mom Strong 1.0 is specifically designed to address core and pelvic floor recovery. If your symptoms are significant, we may suggest working alongside a pelvic floor physiotherapist. In either case, nothing in this program will make things worse.
A small group session, capped at 12, led by Chriselle. You will move through a warm-up, a coached workout built around functional postpartum movements, and a cool-down. This is not CrossFit. It is not a cardio class. It is deliberate, progressive training designed for where you are right now. Babies are welcome. Coming solo is equally fine.
Book a No-Sweat Intro and we will help you decide. Most moms begin with 1.0. If you are at least 5 months postpartum and have been training consistently, you may be able to enter 2.0 directly. We make that call together during your intro conversation.
It happens. For 2.0 members, holds are available for any reason, with a minimum of one month and no cap on how many times you use them. For 1.0, speak with your coach. Life with a newborn is unpredictable and we plan for that.
Yes! This is designed as a “Mommy and Me” class where your little one can hang out with you while you workout.
No worries. This is an all-moms class and everyone in the room has been there. If your baby needs a feed, a hold, or a diaper change mid-workout, you handle it and hop back in. No one is judging you. That is kind of the whole point.
Ask your doctor for their specific recommendations, but the general guideline is 6 weeks postpartum.
Absolutely! Every workout is scaled to you individually. If you have never set foot in a gym before, this is one of the best places to start. The coaches are trained to meet you where you are, and the class size is small enough that you will get real attention, not just a generic modification.
Craving a little dedicated Mom time? You can absolutely come solo.
No experience needed! We will teach you everything you need to know to safely workout each class!
To cancel, let us know before the 20th of the month prior to your next renewal date. To pause, submit a hold request for a minimum of one month. There is no maximum hold length and no limit on how many times you can use it. Full details are in your membership agreement.
We have locations in both Aurora and Newmarket. As a 2.0 member you can train at either one depending on what suits your week. Full addresses are listed on our Locations page.

Have questions? Let’s talk.
