Alright folks, we need to talk about something vital to your fitness journey. Leg Day. Yes, that notorious, dreaded part of the week that many try to avoid. But, here at Crossfit Aurora Central, we believe in a well-rounded workout, and that definitely includes giving your legs the attention they deserve.

No Chicken Legs Allowed

It’s tempting, we get it. Upper body workouts can give faster “mirror” results that you and others can quickly notice. However, skipping out on leg day can lead to an unbalanced physique. Nobody wants to look like a lightbulb, right?

Working on your legs doesn’t just give you balanced muscle development, it also gives you strength and power for daily activities. Everything from walking up flights of stairs, to enjoying a bike ride, gets easier when your legs are strong.

Leg exercises engage some of the largest muscle groups in your body. This means you’re potentially burning more calories and promoting the muscle-building process. Plus, robust leg muscles can help improve your performance in other sports and activities. It’s essentially a win-win!
